BLOG TOUR: Picturing Perfect by Melissa Brown

Life may not turn out like we planned, but sometimes that’s what makes it perfect…

Hadley Foster has always been a planner. But, since the age of nineteen, things haven’t exactly gone according to plan… not at all. And the changes continue to mount when a trip to Europe with her best friend starts a domino effect in all aspects of her life. Suddenly, the future she had envisioned for herself seems unlikely to happen. It’s time to make a new plan… or accept the dominoes as they fall.

Jason Kelly has a great life. He’s a successful self-published writer who’s living his dreams. But, something is missing. Hadley Foster. Letting her slip through his fingers is one of his biggest regrets. Over time, he had to accept the idea of being without his first love as he watched her fall in love with someone else.

When circumstances bring Jason and Hadley back into one another’s lives, they’re forced to deal with their past, their present and the possibility of a future together.

Melissa Brown is a hopeless romantic living in the Chicagoland area with her husband and their two children. Aside from writing, she enjoys reading and baking. She also has a slight obsession with actor Henry Cavill and the TV show New Girl. This is her third novel.

Hadley Foster had her life planned out. She thought she had the perfect boyfriend, the perfect plan, the perfect timing. But it didn't turn out that way. Her life started to take a different course and it was scaring Hadley. She was faced with problems that she never planned for and most of all, she never planned on Jason Kelly walking back into her life.

"Just because things aren't as you pictured them, doesn't mean they're less perfect" ~ Jason

Jason Kelly has been waiting for that one girl. Sure he tried to go the other route and date other girls, but he always came back to this one girl. And when she walked back into his life, it was fate. And sometime fate can be cruel. But with determination he moves forward. Will it be enough? Can Jason make Hadley see that picture perfect plans are not needed?

I adore Melissa Brown. I fell in love with Bouquet Toss and we saw a glimpse of Jason in Champagne Toast. So I was thrilled when I heard that my favorite t-shirt, 80s loving author was getting his own book. And Jason does not disappoint in this book. His swoon worthy points quadrupled for me and I could not get enough of him. This book made me laugh, swoon, cry both tear of joy and pain. Hadley is enduring and you feel for her and can understand her and you probably know someone like her in your own life. Melissa's books flow with such grace and before you know it you are at the end. Craving more of her fascinating story telling.  Want to have a small taste of Jason's masterpiece shirts? A few gave me a chuckle or two.

My Personal Favorite!

Although this is the third in a series, all the books can read as a stand alones. Although I encourage you to read all three books! You will not be disappointed! A 5 Star Must Read!
