BLOG TOUR: Loving Cara by Kristen Proby

CHEMISTRY WAS NEVER THIS SEXY IN HIGH SCHOOL.

In her sizzling new series, USA Today bestselling author Kristen Proby sets the stage for a passionate reunion under the breathtaking Montana sky.

Cara Donovan’s summer tutoring job is turning out to be a challenge—and not just because of her troubled twelve-year-old student. It’s his uncle Josh who’s the real problem. If problem is the word for an irresistibly cocky, muscle-bound rancher with a taste for tight Levi’s and shameless flirtation. . . .

Cara is nothing like the wallflower Josh King remembers good-naturedly teasing in high school. This Cara is gorgeous, confident, fun. From the moment the fiery teacher steps foot on his family’s Lazy K Ranch, the stubborn playboy is determined to corral her. So what happens when his luscious lover takes over the reins?

The first in a steamy trilogy, Kristen Proby’s enthralling novel is filled to the brim with one hardworking family’s triumphs and challenges, all the wild adventure of the modern West, and a whole lot of titillating fun.

I so want to live in the universe where Kristen's men are real in and every single one of them are in my life. Loving Cara is the first in a three part book series Love Under the Big Skies. And just like her With Me in Seattle Series, Kristen hits you with sexy men, strong women and a storyline that pulls you in.

Being a girl who grew up in North Dakota, I loved this story's settings. And yes, there really are cowboys out there who are very similar to our hero in Loving Cara.

Josh has know Carolina most of his life. He went to school with her and always had a distant crush on her. When Josh's nephew comes to live with him and his parents, he needs a tutor to help get Seth back up to speed with school during the summer. It just so happens that Cara is looking for a summer job and so she heads out to Josh's ranch.

When Cara finds out her summer tutoring job is out at Josh's ranch, she almost turns her tail and runs. Josh is the distraction that she really doesn't need, but the two start to become close and Cara feels a pull towards Seth and really wants to help.

What I loved about the book, is that time just faded away. I was so caught up that by the time I got to the end, I just kept looking for more. Although it doesn't have as much steam as some of Kristen's other books, don't let other reviews fool you. This book is HOT! Especially if a cowboy looking like Josh Duhamel (times 2) is your fantasy! LOL. I can't wait for the next two books in this series! Something to look forward to in 2014 from Ms. Proby! 4.5 Stars
