City & Suzy are back!

I had everything I ever wanted—a wife, a kid, with two more on the way. I was living the American dream.

After the babies were born, we hit a rough patch. I did everything to prove my love, to show Suzy that nothing was more important than her. After some work and a lot of time, we found our groove again. Just when life had evened out, a familiar enemy came back to haunt us. It wasn’t my past that followed us, but my brother’s.

When the danger gets too close, I’ll do anything to defend my family. There’s nothing more important than the people I love, and I’ll protect what’s mine—even if it costs me my life.

Suzy glared at me. "What's this we shit? I'm the one with two aliens inside of me, trying to claw their way out of my body. I'm the only one pushing them out of my tiny vagina. Not you. Not her. Me!"

She waved her hands frantically in the air. "I'm the one doing everything while you sit there calm, sexy, and without your body splitting in two. I'm going to be the one tearing wide open as I push two humans and their giant Gallo heads out of my body." She collapsed, gasping for air, and closed her eyes.

I bit my lip. Pregnant Suzy was unpredictable, but in-labor Suzy was just downright scary. "I know, sugar. You're doing all the hard work. I'm just here to cheer you on and support you." Her nostrils flared and her eyes grew wide when she glanced up.

"Support me? If you want to support me, you'll never knock me up again. You want to cheer me on?" She rolled her eyes and made a noise low in her throat. "Stop fucking talking."

I braced myself, waiting for her head to do a 360. I brought my mouth right next to her ear. "My sweet little wife, you beg for my cock every day. It takes two to tango, sweetheart. I didn't put you in that bed." I lowered my voice further, whispering, "Your sweet little cunt did." She closed her eyes again and moaned.

"You're just too damn good. I can't keep my hands to myself. It's still your fault, my dear husband."

I couldn't hold it in any longer. I burst into laughter. "Now, I fuck you too good?" "Yes!" she screeched, pounding her fist on the crappy, plastic hospital bed. "If you weren't so good at it, I wouldn't be lying here right now."

Just as I was about to reply, the nurse walked in. "I hear someone is ready to push." Her voice was so chipper, kind of like my wife's used to sound like before pregnancy. "Are we excited?" she asked, moving a tray of instruments next to the foot of the bed.

"I just want this over. I'm so freaking uncomfortable." "That makes two of us," I muttered and nodded at the nurse with a fake smile on my face before leaning over and kissing Suzy's forehead. "Ready, sugar?"
I was thrilled to see a new story in the Men of Inked Series and even happier to see we got City and Suzy back. They are definitely my favorite couple from the series and I was a little giddy to get started with this book.

Suzy and City are welcoming twins into their family, but as the pregnancy progresses things start to change for Suzy. She's not the confident spitfire that City grew to love and he's worried. Once the babies are born, things seem to spiral out of control. City is losing the love of his life to a serious case of postpartum depression and now is the time for his family to rally and lend their support.

This book broke my heart, knowing first hand how postpartum can pull at you and the emotions you feel with these new little lives taking over and you just feel lost. City and Suzy go through the ringer and with the added family stress it can be hard.

Honor Me is a good catch up with the family. I loved seeing everyone come together to work through the problems not only with Mike and Suzy but with others in the family.

There are a few OMG moments and one that will shock the hell out of you, but I can't tell you about it --- but I just won't :)

But another great addition to the Gallo Family and Men of Inked!

Hustler by Meghan Quinn and Jessica Prince

Title: Hustler
Authors: Meghan Quinn & Jessica Prince
Genre: New Adult, Romantic Comedy

I make my living as a hustler, and I’m great at it.

I don’t have a single tell and I use that to my advantage to manipulate any situation.

I’ve always known what a person is about to do before they’ve even decided.
That is, until I met Penelope.
I can’t get a read on her, and what’s worse, she doesn’t want anything to do with me.

Which only makes me want her more.
Now I’m in for the hardest hustle of my life.

Somehow I have to convince her she belongs with me.

Good thing I’m always up for a challenge.

Free on Kindle Unlimited!

This book was full of laughs, sexy alpha men and snarky, kick-ass women.
I loved every minute of it.

Gavin is used to getting what he wants. A world champion poker player that "works" at a Vegas casino, is taken by Peneleope aka Nell - a cocktail waitress with an attitude, in the high roller suite. He's not quite sure what makes her different, but he has to have her, even if she comes kicking and screaming the whole way. He's not so sure that one night with the snarky, sassy woman will do. But make no mistakes, she will be his.

Nell on the other hand is just trying to make money to send back to her parents and make a little time to follow her real dream of working in one of the circus sol shows on the strip. But Gavin is throwing her off her game and she doesn't know how much longer she can resist the gorgeous man who seems to be every where she is.

Such a fun read! I loved Gavin and his friends Scott and Graham. Nell has her own little posse of Page and Davies - who help round out a perfect cast for this tantalizing tale set on the Vegas Strip.

“Hello Miss Prescott. What brings you here this fine morning?”
Her eyes are glued to my chest, not a single word comes out of her mouth.
“Um, we’re having a picnic,” Page answers for her, poking Penelope in the back with a stick.
“Oh yeah, food,” Penelope answers, shaking her head quickly and turning back around.
Not waiting for an invitation, I take a seat next to her and say, “Well, don’t mind if I do. I’m famished.” Grabbing a few grapes, I pop them in my mouth and then hold my hand out to Page. “Gavin Saint.”
“Page,” she answers, awe in her voice. “Nell has told me so much about you.”
Grinning from ear to ear, I turn to Penelope whose face is bright red. “Is that so?”
“No!” she answers quickly, shooting daggers at her friend. “I have not said anything about you, at all.”
“Not even about the storage closet?” I ask, not ashamed at all.
Davies throws her head back and laughs while Penelope coughs into her drink. I pat her back in a calming gesture, occasionally rubbing my hand over the thin material of her top, wishing it were her skin.
“From your reactions, it seems like our little friend here did tell you. What did she say? Give me all the dirt.” I rub my hands together, loving the way Penelope is seething next to me.
Before any of the girls could cut in, Penelope says, “Just that you told me you had to use your fingers because you have a micro-penis and felt bad that you wouldn’t be able to please me any other way. We all agreed, you can’t have it all Gavin Saint,” she finishes with a sympathetic wince.
Should have seen that one coming. Fucking woman keeps me on my toes.
I lean over to Penelope, placing my hand on her lower back, and speak directly into her ear, keeping our conversation private. “You and I both know that’s a lie, but I’ll let it slide because I look forward to the moment when I fuck that thought right out of your head with my long…thick…cock.” I take my time speaking into her ear, eliciting goose bumps across the surface of her skin. With a quick glance, I also take in how her nipples have hardened.
Bluff all you want baby, I can read you like a fucking book.

Meghan Quinn

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

Jessica Prince

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.
Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.
In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.
Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

“Kellan and Shay Braden, why is it always you two? And if it’s not the two of you, it’s your other two siblings. All the time.” Mr. Mirchak approached, shaking his head. “Who’d you fight this time, Kellan?”
I should’ve felt something, maybe remorse, but there was nothing. Matt had assaulted me. Kellan felt it and protected me. And if Matt chose to run away, then that was Matt’s decision. But still…I should’ve felt guilty.
Kellan drew to his full height of six one and squared his lean shoulders against the portly forty-something teacher. He shook his head. “Do you see anyone, Mr. Mirchak?”
The balding teacher shook his head. “I never see anyone, Kellan. That’s the problem. But I know that someone’s going to show up with a busted eye, maybe a shoulder. I don’t know, but there’s always something.” He turned away, but mumbled over his shoulder, “…too damn scared to say a thing…”
Kellan waited until the teacher had turned the corner before he flashed a smile. “What do you think?”
I rolled my eyes and kicked my locker open. “You didn’t have to hurt his jaw.”
“Right.” Kellan fell against the locker beside mine and studied me. “At least this way, he’ll shut up all the time. I’m getting tired of his mouth. The guy thinks he knows you too much. He doesn’t know anything.”
“Still…” I muttered as I bent inside to grab my book.
“Still,” Kellan mimicked me and yanked me out. “Why didn’t you do something, Shay?”
“What are you talk—?”
“Don’t. Not with me,” Kellan interrupted. “You could’ve stopped him long before I came around the corner. You knew I was coming. Why didn’t you stop him?”
“Maybe I wanted to hear his rhetoric on how hot I must be for him.”
“Don’t be funny, Shay. You’re not the funny one, remember?”
I smirked. “That’s funny. I don’t think that role’s been taken in our family.”
Kellan’s hand tightened on my arm. He pulled me closer and bent his head to my ear. “You always wait for me. Why?”
Maybe I couldn’t bring myself to do what he enjoyed. Maybe I liked knowing he’d always protect me or that someone would protect me. Maybe…maybe I enjoyed the sick pleasure knowing that someone like Matt could never really hurt me, though he didn’t know that fact. Or maybe…I whispered, “I don’t know, okay?”
I didn’t know. I had ideas. I had possible scenarios, but the only truth was, I could’ve easily broken Matt’s hold on me and I didn’t.
Hello~ (waves)

I didn't begin writing until after undergraduate college. There'd been storylines and characters in my head all my life, but it came to a boiling point one day and I HAD to get them out of me. So the computer was booted up and I FINALLY felt it click. Writing is what I needed to do. After that, I had to teach myself how to write. I can't blame my teachers for not teaching me all those years in school. It was my fault. I was one of the students that was wishing I was anywhere but at school! So after that day, it took me lots of work until I was able to put together something that resembled a novel. I'm hoping I got it right since someone must be reading this profile! And I hope you keep enjoying my future stories.

As I drove through the backstreets of Poehler and headed out of town, I saw Leah and a few others leaving one of the pizza places, like a normal teenager enjoying time with her friends.
I’d never been a part of that world. None of the Bradens had. And for some reason, it never bothered us. We were meant for different things. Still…a part of me wished things could’ve been different. That I could’ve grown up as a normal girl with a normal family and even a normal boyfriend.
When I slowed and turned onto the gravel road that led to my home, I knew it was useless to wish that.
I wasn’t normal. No one in my family was, but it would’ve been nice to know what normal felt like.
We lived in a three-story brick house. And as I parked to the left of the garage, I cursed when I saw that every single light was off. That didn’t mean everyone was asleep, not in my family. It meant that they were outside, probably down by the river.
It was a little reprieve for me.
I let myself in to the empty house, kept the lights off, toed off my sandals, and moved into the kitchen. The bare tile felt cool underneath my feet. As I opened the fridge, I pulled out a container of orange juice and then screamed.
Kellan stood right behind me, a foreboding expression on his face.
“Oh God.” I laughed, weakly, as I set down the orange juice. “You gave me a heart attack just now.”
Kellan cocked his head to the side, his eyes on mine.
When I shut the door, the fridge’s light was replaced by the moonlight. It fell over his face and gave him a shadowed, mysterious look. Anyone else would’ve shuddered in scared anticipation. I just shuddered because it was cold.
“What?” I asked. Kellan had something to say, I could tell. I didn’t have the patience to play his games.
“Where were you?” he asked, his voice low and gruff, almost raw.
“I had things to do. What are you talking about? I told you that.” I wanted him to leave it alone. I didn’t want to tell him about the painting, not after so many years of secrecy.
“No, you didn’t tell me anything. And I knew you didn’t want me to ask, just like you never want me to ask.” Kellan moved forward and leaned against the fridge. I knew he didn’t intend it, but his stance seemed predatory.
“I saw Leah leaving the pizza place tonight. You sure you want to miss out on that?” I asked nervously. I downed the rest of the orange juice, and when I turned toward the sink, Kellan grabbed my arm and hauled me back.
“What?” I asked. Kellan had never been intentionally rough with me. I’d never seen it, but I knew he had it in him. In fact, something told me that he had a lot in him that I wouldn’t want to know.
His fingers tightened on my arm. “What were you doing tonight?”
I looked at his hand, almost distantly, though I felt the pain intimately. “Don’t ask me that.”
“Why? Are you going to tell me the truth?”
I looked up and met his gaze. His eyes were a piercing blue, so beautiful to look at, but I swallowed and steadied myself. “I would lie. And I don’t want to lie to you.”
