The life of a session musician is rarely easy. After consecutive tour cancellations and a stack of unpaidbills, Chloe Bennett fears her dream has come to an end.
Then everything changes.
Indie rocker Reid Ryder needs a replacement violinist for his tour. For Chloe, it’s the opportunity of alifetime. For Reid, it’s a checkmark off his list. Already battling addiction, guilt, and his inability to writenew music, Reid's hopeful that things are finally falling into place.
But life is never predictable.
When the tour begins, he finds himself drawn to Chloe. She challenges and inspires him. Their onstagechemistry is electric. To the outside world, they’re the perfect match. To those involved, however, it’snot so simple. When Reid’s no longer sure that the future he planned is the one he wants, a choice mustbe made.
Brooklyn & Beale was everything I was hoping for and more. I loved Olivia's debut - Hollywood & Vine (which you should totally read if you haven't) and love her style of writing so I had high expectations going into this story. Not only did she deliver - she blew me away.
I love a good rocker love story and let me tell you that Reid Ryder ranks up there with the Kellan Kyle's and Jake Wether's of the book boyfriend variety. He's kinda hard to explain without giving away story line, but just know that he will grab you and toy with your emotions in a way that will make you swoon from the beginning to end. What I loved about Chloe is that she wasn't a whiny heroine - whoa is me type of girl. She's strong, witty, cute and perfect in her role as friend to Reid.
This isn't an insta-love romance either. These two build a strong foundation and their struggles are real and not overly done. I honestly could not put the book down (and I tried! I had a ton of work to get done and after a while, I just gave up.)
Not only are Reid and Chloe highly developed, so is the whole cast of characters. You want to leap into the pages and become a part of the gang and live the life along with him. Escapism at its best!
I can't wait for more stories from Olivia and she has definitely made it to one of my go to authors!
5 fantastic stars!

She can forgive, but can she forget?
Some days, Everly still thinks she sees him. In the food court at the mall, or in a car speeding past as the light changes. It only lasts a second, but when it happens, she slips back to a time when she was ruled-and nearly ruined-by August Kincaid. And it doesn't matter that she's moved on, that she's about to marry another man. In those moments the only thing she can do to regain control is take a deep breath and remind herself that August can't hurt her-because he's in a coma. Except that he's not anymore.
August is awake. With no memories, he sets out to solve the mystery of his lost life. He unearths a photograph of a beautiful redhead named Everly and knows instinctively that she's the key. But when he finds her, the August she describes is more monster than man.
Tortured by the thought of having hurt her, August wants only to become the man Everly deserves. As the new August emerges, Everly glimpses the person she first fell in love with. But can she trust that this August is real? When the final secret of their shared past is revealed, one of them will make a choice that changes their future forever . . .
My hand shook as I pulled the box
into my lap, preparing myself for what may lay hidden within.I felt nervous and sick with
anticipation.I suddenly wanted to flee,
but where would I go?And how would I
get there?Moving my leg took more
concentration than I was willing to admit and I was still attached to what
looked to be a hundred monitoring devices.
The
box stared back at me, waiting...wondering when I would crack its lip and
finally divulge the secrets it had been keeping for so long.
What if I didn't like what I found?
What if I did?
Taking a deep breath, I placed my
hand on the lip and pulled, knowing there was only one way to find out.
All neatly arranged inside, I found
clothes, a wallet and a scattering of other personal belongings.I immediately went for the wallet, knowing it
would hold the most information. Everything else forgotten, my fingers traced
the smooth edges of the soft leather as I bent it open.
There staring back at me was a
picture of my own face.Because of the
mirror across the room near the sink, I'd managed to catch a glimpse of my
reflection a time or two since awaking here hours earlier.
The man looking up at me on the
California driver’s license photo was a stark contrast to the person I was
today.
Cold empty green eyes looked
through me, as if the world and everything in it were beneath him. With a crisp white shirt and flawless green
tie and jacket, there was no smile permeating through the lens--not even a hint
of emotion was showing. My now long,
unkempt hair had been trimmed short and neat, matching the impeccable persona
that could be seen even through the tiny picture.
My attention turned towards the
address.
1023 Sea Cliff Lane, San
Francisco.
I looked out the window, trying to
see if anything beyond its paned glass brought back any hints or memories of a
life I once led.
San Francisco.
Even though the driver’s license
confirmed what the nurse had already told me, I still felt no connection with
the city below.Nothing called out to
me, nothing held my attention.
Was there anyone down there that
would remember my name?
I dug further through the wallet,
finding a couple hundred dollars in cash, as well as several credit cards and a
few membership cards to places I'd never heard of, but apparently belonged to.
Or had belonged to.
What happened to your life when you
went into a coma?Did you
disappear?Cease to exist or did life
carry on?I looked at the address on my
driver’s license and wondered if I still had a home...a bank account?I wasn't dead, but who had been paying my
bills for the last two?
Did I have money to pay the bills?
Fuck.
Suddenly, all I wanted was to slip
back into that coma and never wake up again.
And then I saw her.
It was just a glimpse at first, the
edge of a picture sticking out from inside the wallet--a wisp of hair that had
me pulling at it to see it properly.
With the golden gate bridge as our
backdrop, a much younger, carefree version of myself held a girl in my arms and
suddenly the world didn't feel so lonely anymore.Copper red hair tumbled down her back like a
fiery mane.Her bright blue eyes
sparkled as if she held untold secrets waiting to be revealed. In my own eyes, I didn't see harshness or the
rigid void of nothing.I saw her,
reflecting back in spades, the love radiating between us.
I flipped the photo over, hoping
for something...anything that would tell me who this girl was.
There was nothing but a date and a
name.
August and Everly - 2005
Everly.
She had a name.
Now all I had to do was find her.

a Signed Print Set of the Montgomery Brothers Series
Book #6 in New York Times and USA
Today bestselling author Samantha Chase's popular Montgomery series
This
Montgomery Has a Head for Business
Working for Zach Montgomery is
challenging on many levels-coming from a wealthy and powerful family, he lives
by his own rules and doesn't answer to anyone. But Gabriella Martine has no
intention of backing down. She's used to handling stubborn men, and it doesn't
hurt that Zach is smart, charismatic...and gorgeous.
And a Heart for Adventure
Zach's perfect world is turned
upside down when a climbing accident leaves him broken, angry, and maddeningly
dependent. In his slow quest for recovery, Gabriella is always there to
help...but as Zach comes to see his beautiful assistant in a new light, he is
forced to re-evaluate what it really means to be a man worthy of Gabriella's
love.
“Zach
Montgomery,” Gabriella began seriously. “I was wondering if you were still
looking for a roommate.”
A
slow smile played across his lips. “A roommate? No.”
“No?”
He
shook his head. “What I had in mind was a lot more…intimate.”
“Ooo…I
like the sound of that,” she purred as she stepped closer. “I like the sound of
that a lot. If you’re still looking for someone to fill that…position, I’d really like to be
considered.”
“You
would, huh? It would mean moving all of your things here.”
“Well
then it’s your lucky night because I happen to have a ton of my stuff over
there in the car just waiting to be moved in here.”
Zach’s
eyes went wide. “Are you serious? You really have your stuff in Summer’s car?”
“I
do. And if we don’t get them out soon, her car may just explode.”
Gabriella
didn’t have a chance to say more because Zach lifted her up into his arms and
swung her around.
“I
take it this means you’re happy?” she asked.
“You
have no idea,” he said. “So happy that I want to take you inside ride now and
have my way…”
“Stop
it! Stop it! Stop it! La la la la la!!” Summer sang out as she stepped from the
bushes. “I don’t want to hear any more of that. Sheesh!”
Zach
looked at his sister and chuckled. “What, may I ask, were you doing in the
bushes?”
“I
was going to snap a picture of you to prove to the world you really do smile.
But then you went and got gross with your sexy talk and now I may have to stab
pointy things in my ears. Blech.” She shuddered and walked over to her
car. “C’mon. Give us a hand with all this luggage so I can go home and make
Ethan give me a massage.”
“Oh,
so you can talk about you and Ethan but I’m not allowed to mention sexy stuff
with me and…”
“You’re
doing it again!”
“I
haven’t said anything yet!”
“But
you were going to!” Summer said, pointing a finger at him. “Just…no talking.
Just get the luggage and go in the house and don’t tell me about what happens after
that!”

Although she waited until she was in her 40's to publish for the first time,

We are thrilled to bring you the Review/Excerpt Tour for DARING HER LOVE by Melissa Foster! DARING HER LOVE is a novella in the world of her Love in Bloom: The Bradens Series, brought to you by 1001 Dark Nights.
This Braden novella features Kat Martin, Brianna Heart's best friend from Hearts at Play (The Bradens, #6) with appearances from the hot, wealthy, and wickedly naughty Bradens you know and love.
Kat
Martin knows what she wants in a man—someone stable and adoring,
definitely not the type of guy who sleeps around. After all, Kat rarely
does the wrong thing—until she meets seductively enticing Eric James,
and suddenly wrong has never felt so right.
When it comes to his
career, race-car driver Eric James is intense, obsessive, and
passionate, but when it comes to sex, there's only one kind—daring,
unbridled, and no-strings-attached.
One stormy night, a delayed
flight and the dangerous allure of the unknown leads Kat to throw
caution to the wind, and she indulges in a rendezvous that she vows to
immediately forget—but the secret tryst stirs something possessive in
Eric, and forgetting is not an option.
“I hope you don’t mind, but I
ordered you a lemon-drop martini. I figured we could start over.”
“Start over?”
He reached for her hand. “I hope
to be with you long past tonight, and the story you tell your friends should be
a bit more romantic than picking each other up in an airport lounge.”
Her heart skipped a beat.
“That’s really thoughtful.”
“And a little selfish, I’m
afraid. I’m sure you have guy friends, and I don’t want them picturing you
doing naughty things with me in the men’s bathroom.”
She laughed. “I’d never tell
anyone that.”
He arched a brow. “I have a
feeling Brianna knows.”
She nibbled on her lower lip,
and he used his free hand to draw her closer by the nape of her neck.
“That’s okay, darlin’. I was
kidding. I just want you to have a story you’re proud to tell, not one that
makes you wonder if you made a mistake.”
“Thank you.” She leaned forward
and pressed her lips to his.
He deepened the kiss, sliding
his knee between her legs and moving closer. The press of his lips sent a rush
of heat through her. She’d been dying to kiss him all evening, and now, with
the crashing of the waterfall just beyond the glass and shadows dancing in
their private candlelit room, she took her fill. His tongue swept over every
dip of her mouth, over her teeth, and then he pulled back and slicked it over
her lower lip, leaving her breathing hard and moving hungrily in for more. She
wound her arms around his neck, and their mouths came together hard and fast.
His hands slid to her hips, holding her there, burning right through her
clothing. She wanted to move from her chair to straddle his lap and let their
bodies decide where to go next, but the sound of footsteps brought her mind
back to reality, and she moved away with a whimper of loss.
His hand slid from her hip, down
her forearm, and his fingers laced with hers, as if he, too, couldn’t stand
losing the connection.
Kat Martin is turning over a new leaf. She's quit her job at the traven
and has sworn off fast men and hookups. She's looking for a love like
her best friend Bree has found with Hugh Braden and she thinks its about
time she starts looking for Mr. Right and not Mr. Rightnow. The only
thing is while waiting for her plane to Colorado to visit the Bradens,
her eyes get locked with a hot and sexy man who just so happens to be
zeroing in on her.
Eric James is drawn to the beautiful blonde
sitting at the bar. There is something about her that is calling out to
him and he just needs to see what it could be. She's sexier than all get
out and those eyes are burning him in a way he hasn't felt... ever. The
two connect instantly and he can tell there is a burning desire flowing
out of her too. Why not pass the time with a little fun. When she
excuses herself to the ladies room, he follows for a little a fun.
Hot,
combustible desire consumes the two as they give into their lust. As
soon as they are finish though, Kat goes running. Not exactly what Eric
had planned. So luck was on his side when he sees the gorgeous blonde
step onto his flight to Colorado, he knew this was his time to make a
move to get to know the woman that seemed to be so much more to him.
When
the two figure out that they are both heading to the Braden Ranch, its a
game changer for both. Will both of these wild fires be able to settle
into a relationship or will their pasts be too much of a factor to keep
them from finding their happily ever afters?
I want so much more of Eric and Kat and hope to see them again in the Braden Series.

ENDURE - that's what "The Crew" has done. It's sad to see this group of wildly fun characters move on yet ENDURE was the perfect ending to this series... but is it? :)
It's time for a wedding that "The Crew" is flying to Jamaica for the wedding to end all. There are so many twists and turns that I was surprised to say the least when I figured out exactly who was getting married. As always you have Dane the Alpha personified, Sawyer the peacemaker, Sawyer the loose cannon and then Zach... well you'll just have to read to see this side of Zach.
It was a fun read and if you haven't read this series I HIGHLY recommend it to add to your TBR. This "Crew" will take you on a ride that you will not forget.
“Well hop to it, your holiness. I’m itching to kiss my wife!”
His enthusiasm is as humorous as it is recognizable. There’s no feeling in the world comparable—the impatience to begin the rest of your life with that one person—the only woman in the world who turns you into a blundering fool, no matter who’s watching. The need to touch her so great, you’ll babble your way through an argument, with a man of God, no matter who’s listening.
S.E. Hall, lover of all things anticipation and romance, is the author of The Evolve Series: Emerge, Embrace, Entangled, Entice, Baby Mama Drama and now, Endure!
