(Colorado Ice Novella) -Nov 1/16
Love is always worth the risk . . .
Neil Healy was happy to be promoted to Air Force Lieutenant, but he's less than thrilled that the new job has brought him back to his hometown. The memories alone could kill a man, to say nothing of actually seeing the woman he never got over. Neil knew avoiding Becky Westmore would be impossible, but he didn't expect the chemistry between them to be as strong as ever.
All Becky wants this holiday season is to get through the month of December with her sanity intact. Not helping? Her ex-boyfriend's return to Glenwood Falls. Even after a decade apart, Neil still makes her feel in ways no other man has. But Christmas is a time for miracles, and maybe Becky's will be a second chance at first love.
I am so excited about this new series from Jennifer Snow. It has two of my favorite things, Christmas and Second Chance Romance.
Becky Westmore's high school boyfriend and the guy she thought she would spend the rest of her life with is back in their home town of Glenwood Falls. Neil Healy was the guy that she was going to marry, spend the rest of her life with. Until he joined the military and she realized that wasn't the life that she wanted.
Now 10 years later, he's back and the connection between the two of them is still off the charts but it's no longer just about her. She has her daughter Taylor now and after losing her police officer husband 4 years ago, she doesn't know if her heart and Taylor's can survive another love putting his life on the line.
Neil has never forgotten his first love and now that he's back and the connection is still burning hot, he's going to prove that he can be the man that Becky wants and needs. His heart is full with not only the love of Becky but also her daughter Taylor. Is it right for him to ask them to wait for him when he gets shipped overseas again?
This novella is the perfect start to introduce you to Becky's brothers - the Westmore Brothers, three hockey hotties, in which the Colorado Ice Series will be based on. I highly recommend this series!
