A though I've read other books by Lori Wilde, this is the first book in the Twilight, Texas Series of hers I've read. All the books although part of a series, can be read as stand alones.

I love a good second chance/friends to lovers/childhood friends troupe and this one covers them all. Ryder is sinfully sexy and Katie's insecurities get thrown on the back burner as Ryder helps her come alive.
A fun quick holiday read that is a lot of fun! I can't wait to go back and read the rest of the books in the series.
