But when she’s chosen as the first woman to fly the Air Force’s F-35, her plan for a life that revolves around work is thrown off course by a handsome, mysterious stranger… Thanks to Locke’s seductive British accent, sweet nature, and one too many beers, Tink is soon inspired to throw caution to the wind and herself into his arms. She thinks maybe love can heal after all—until she discovers Locke is her superior officer. Tink has no problem risking her life in the air, but with everything on the line, is she brave enough to risk her heart on the ground?

Jamie Rae's Message to Readers

As a military spouse and Air Force veteran, I wanted my debut to not only be about something that I knew and loved but to also be a story that delivered a powerful message. Your reviews and feedback have meant the world to me and I can’t thank you enough for taking a chance on my feisty, female fighter pilot. Your words have made me laugh, smile, ugly cry, happy dance, fist bump, and cheer. Most importantly they have given me the encouragement to keep writing. I love and adore each of you! In the words of Tink, “Holy hell, you rock!”

 -Ana (Owl Always Be Reading)

"This book had it all for me. It had heartache, romance, forbidden love and action! I had every single feel throughout the book"

-Debi (Mean Girls Luv Books)

This is an Infinite Star Book!! One the Best Debut Novels of All-Time & Best Books of the Year! Call Sign Karma is without a doubt one the best debut novels I have ever read in my life! The Synopsis leads you to a good and even great book. However, this novel is the very definition of a masterpiece.

EXCERPT:

I put the key in the ignition and started the Jeep when the door opened. My pulse quickened and I locked eyes with my monumental mistake. I shifted the Jeep into gear and reversed. I did not want to see him and I definitely didn’t want to be alone with him. He held a motorcycle helmet in his hand and started toward me. “Lieutenant,” he yelled. I put the Jeep into drive as he continued rushing toward me. “Wait!” Not a chance in hell.

Accelerating way too fast, I peeled out of the parking lot without looking back. Adrenaline pumped through my veins. I turned the corner a lot faster than I should have and a security forces policeman flashed his patrol lights as a warning. I slowed and drove the twenty-five mile an hour speed limit. The way my blood pumped, I could have gotten out and ran faster than I drove.

I heard the motorbike’s buzz before I saw it. Locke was behind me.

I wanted to slam on my brakes and see how far I could launch him into the air. He’d need his own jet to get down. Once I got off the military base, I threw it in fifth. The motorbike had no problem keeping up with me. I pulled into my driveway, cut the engine, jumped over the door, and stormed to my walkway. He was off his bike and at my side before I made it to the porch.

“Wait!” I ignored him and trotted up the first few stairs to the porch. His footsteps followed.

“We need to talk.” My key sank into the lock.

“Tinklee,” he said with a thickened accent.

I swung around, resisting the urge to push his ass off my property. “So you do realize I have an actual name.”

“What did you want me to do?” he asked with a deep-set crease between his brows. He was visibly upset.

“You shocked the bloody hell out of me. Why didn’t you tell me you were a JSF student?”

“I don’t know, why didn’t you tell me you were a JSF instructor?” I questioned and threw my hands in the air.

“You didn’t tell me your name, which by the way, might have been good to know. I read the student roster. That would have saved us both from this mistake.”

I jerked my head like his words slapped me across the face. It was too late. It was out there. I knew it was a mistake, but saying it out loud cut deep. I turned back toward the door. “That was a daft thing to say,” he said in a gentle, caring voice.

“I didn’t mean it like that. Listen, last night was incredible.”

“Just go,” I replied. I turned the key and I tried to swallow the lump wedged in my throat.

He grabbed my hand and sparked that fire that made me want to forget who he was and what it meant. My perfect stranger was back with all his tenderness.

I wanted to kiss him, hold him, and not have any of the rules matter.

But I knew it was impossible.

He knew it, too.

Without Me by Chelle Bliss

WMTourBannerTHE LAST MEN OF INKED BOOK IS NOW AVAILABLE!

I’d led a selfish existence.
I liked who I was. Hell, I loved myself. Women threw themselves at me and I took what they offered without remorse. I promised them nothing. I sank my teeth into life, holding on to the bitch like my very existence depended on it. Time passed. Women came and went. The second I let my guard down and released the hold I had on life… What was my award for such carelessness? A love so spectacular and heart wrenching that it threw me for a loop. When I was in too deep to escape, my greatest fears became reality. This is my story. My downfall. My salvation.

Oh my! What a way to end the Men of Inked Series with Anthony! This is an amazing series with so much passion, fire and alpha hot men with women who put them in their places. And Anthony and Max's story is no different.

Anthony has always been a manwhore. Giving his brother's and sister all kinds of grief about falling in love. He loves his family but he also loves women. And like all the Gallo's, he has never had a problem attracting women and taking them to bed. So when he meets Max and she says no...well it's game on for Anthony. He never saw it coming, but their was something about Max that he just couldn't pass up. Anthony is a Gallo, so you know he is going to bring on the alpha hotness with a lot of heart too. Max has a secret, and even though he is attracted to Anthony, she just can't get involved and end up breaking both of their hearts.

As always, once you get into a Men of Inked book, you have a really hard time putting the book down. It's sad to say goodbye to the series but Chelle has promised a spin off series where our favorite Gallo's will be making appearances. They will always have a special place --- right here in my heart.

Asa by Jay Crownover

Starting over in Denver with a whole new circle of friends and family, Asa Cross struggles with being the man he knows everyone wants him to be and the man he knows he really is. A leopard doesn’t it change its spots and Asa has always been a predator. He doesn’t want to hurt those who love and rely on him, especially one luscious arresting cop who suddenly seems to be interested in him for far more than his penchant for breaking the law. But letting go of old habits is hard, and it’s easy to hit bottom when it’s the place you know best.

Royal Hastings is quickly learning what the bottom looks like after a tragic situation at work threatens not only her career but her partner’s life. As a woman who has only ever had a few real friends she’s trying to muddle through her confusion and devastation all alone. Except she can’t stop thinking about the sexy southern bartender she locked up. Crushing on Asa is the last thing she needs but his allure is too strong to resist. His long criminal record can only hurt her already shaky career and chasing after a guy who has no respect for the law or himself can only end in heartbreak.

A longtime criminal and a cop together just seems so wrong . . . but for Asa and Royal, being wrong together is the only right choice to make.

I gulped and fully expected Royal to stop what she was doing but she didn’t, and she didn’t bother to look up as I strangled out that we were fine and just needed the bill. The girl gave me a look full of knowing and, if I wasn’t mistaken, approval before she walked off. I curled my fingers at the back of Royal’s head until they were hopelessly tangled in her hair, and lifted her head off of my shoulder enough that I could kiss her. Her hand dipped even lower in my pants and I groaned against her tongue.

“You need to stop.” I rasped the words out because I really didn’t want to say them. We were in a public place, and while she might have a wild side, I doubted she would let me throw her on the cocktail table and fuck her like everything inside me was screaming to do.

She sank her teeth into my bottom lip hard enough, and when she coupled that with her soft hand squeezing the base of my dick, I was ready to come on the spot. “You need to stop, too.”

Her message was clear. She was all for games as long as they were fun and sexy, but she wasn’t going to be a pawn, and if I wanted to enjoy her while I had her, I better get my shit together real quick. She withdrew her hand, skating up under the hem of my shirt and letting her fingers run over the ridges of my abs. The scrape of her nails across my skin had me ready to go off like a rocket, so I threw enough money on the table to cover our bill and probably the table next to ours and dragged her out of the warehouse like it was on fire.

She laughed and it did something to the inside of my chest. I had put tears in her eyes first, but somehow she was amazing enough to understand the stuff I did better than I did myself, and now she was laughing about the disaster of it all. It was like the sun coming through the clouds on a stormy day. She was everything bright the darkness tried to swallow and I wanted inside of her so bad that I couldn’t see straight.

I pushed her up against the side of the battered car and closed my mouth over hers. I tunneled my fingers through the hair at her temples and kissed her with every bit of urgency I had. The funny thing was, I had to let go of some of the other stuff I was always holding on to in order to get the message across to her, and with the press of her mouth against mine, the brush of her tongue across my own, I couldn’t explain it but I suddenly felt lighter.

“I want to take you home and take you to bed.” I sounded rough. There was no smoothness in my typically practiced twang. I sounded impatient and needy, two things I don’t think I had ever been before this girl.

And don’t miss the previous books in The Marked Men Series!

ROWDY

What a way to end the series with a BIG Bang. Jay has written an incredible series, giving us hot, swoon worth - bad boys turned good. And Asa is no different. No longer the anti-hero, Asa is the southern charmer ex-conman matched with the straight and narrow, hot cop - Royal.

Although its a simple story, a bad boy reformed, a good girl skirting the edge of darkness, it is full of humor,  sexiness and heartache. Asa doesn't think he deserve love, especially from someone as beautiful as Royal. Royal has demons though and Asa is just the person to help her fight through them.

Writing that sucks you in. Characters you want to be friends with and part of the crew. If you haven't read the Marked Men Series, you are missing out. You need to add them to your TBR like yesterday!

Jay Crownover is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Marked Men series. She will also be introducing the dark and sexy world of The Point in a new series this summer starting with Better When He’s Bad. Like her characters, she is a big fan of tattoos.

She loves music and wishes she could be a rock star, but since she has no aptitude for singing or instrument playing, she'll settle for writing stories with interesting characters that make the reader feel something. She lives in Colorado with her three dogs.

There was a group playing quarters on the island and another group lining up shots on the breakfast bar – so not my scene. I just shrugged my shoulders, opened the door, pulled out a bottle of water and, when I turned around to walk back outside, I face-planted into a wall of solid muscle.

“Hand me one?” His voice was smooth and... gruff at the same time. Red-faced, I turned back around and got him his water, glad for the cool respite that the opened refrigerator door offered.

“Here you go.” I could not peel my eyes away from his mouth as he moved the bottle to his lips. They were perfect - beautiful and full in a completely masculine way. I watched, completely fascinated, as his throat moved, downing the water in three or four large gulps. He wiped his mouth with his forearm and I couldn’t help but let my eyes travel up the rest of his arm to his biceps and shoulders – those were the same as his lips – perfect. Amazingly, gorgeously, utterly, divinely perfect. Muscled and tanned, his arms were mouthwatering.

My knees wobbled. My heart thudded. Thousands of butterflies spread their wings in my belly.

“Thanks…” he stared blankly at my face for a minute and I couldn't help but wondering if he liked what he saw. He cleared his throat and roused me from my little daydream where the gorgeous boy is mesmerized by the maybe-a-little-above-average looking girl. That’s when I realized he was asking for my name.

“Maddy. Sorry, my name’s Maddy." I nearly choked on my tongue to get my freaking name out.

About the Author:
Melissa Collins

Melissa Collins has always been a book worm. Studying Literature in college ensured that her nose was always stuck in a book. She followed her passion for reading to the most logical career choice: English teacher. Her hope was to share her passion for reading and the escapism of books to her students. Having spent more than a decade in front of a classroom, she can easily say that it’s been a dream.

Her passion for writing didn’t start until more recently. When she was home on maternity leave in early 2012, she read her first romance novel and her head filled with the passion, angst and laughter of the characters who she read about it. It wasn’t long before characters of her own took shape in her mind. Their lives took over Melissa’s brain and The Love Series was born.

Fall With Me Excerpt Tour - Jennifer L. Armentrout

Eleven months ago, bartender and weird-shirt-wearing extraordinaire Roxy and Officer Reece Anders had a one night stand. Well, kind of. She’s sworn him off forever, but the past and future collide, forcing her to rely on the one man who broke her heart not once, but twice.

Her best friend since birth has been in a long-term care facility since he became a victim of a hate crime years ago, and the person who put him in there is out of prison and wanting to make amends with him and Roxy. She’s not sure she has room for forgiveness in her and when she begins to receive frightening messages and is on the receiving end of escalating violence, she thinks she knows who is to blame. The man who already destroyed one life already.

Don’t miss the previous installment of Fall With Me…
And here’s the next part…

Calla, Tess and Avery stared at me.
I drew in a shallow breath that scratched at my throat and then grabbed the hem of my shirt, pulling it straight. “So, do you guys want to know why Hufflepuffs do it better?”
Avery grinned as she leaned forward. “Do we want to know?”
I nodded eagerly. “Oh, yes— yes you do.”
Tess bounced once, way enthusiastic to hear my reasons for why being sorted into Hufflepuff was a good thing, and I think I fell in love with her in that moment, but Calla wasn’t fooled. She nibbled on her lower lip as she watched me refill Avery’s glass with soda. And I couldn’t stop myself from glancing over to where all the guys sat. Cam and Jax, who appeared to be on the verge of an epic bromance were deep in conversation with Jase, but the moment my gaze drifted across the table, I forgot what I was doing with the ice scoop. Holy hell, I didn’t even remember picking it up. Why was I holding it?
Reece’s eyes met mine, and the air slowly leaked out of my lungs. The intensity in his stare traveled across the distance between us. It struck me then— why had he picked tonight to finally breach the standoff between us. Not that it really mattered, but I was curious.
I didn’t need to have any of Katie’s ability— she was convinced that when she fell off the pole while, um, dancing and hit her head, she developed psychic power— to know what he was thinking and what the concentrated power in his stare meant. I might have dodged him in the stockroom, but he was far from done with me.

Vibrant blue eyes, the shade of the sky seconds before dusk washed away the startling color, peered out from a thick fringe of dark brown lashes surrounded by golden hued skin. Those eyes were set in a face that still held a hint of boyish charm, but the hard line of the jaw, stubborn and dominant, and those expressive, well- shaped lips spoke of masculinity. A beauty that could be as harsh as it was majestic.
My gaze moved over the canvas and then to the paintbrush in my hand, the ends of its bristles stained blue.
Dammit all to hell in a handbasket. And not a cheap handbasket, one of those Longaberger baskets like my mom collected.
I did it again.
Resisting the urge to throw the brush at the painting, I wondered if the handle was sharp enough to give myself a lobotomy, because seriously, that was the only valid response to painting Reece’s face.
Again.
As in way more than once.
Not only was it really kind of pathetic, it was also sort of creepy if I thought about it. I mean, I doubted he’d appreciate knowing I was painting or sketching his face. I’d freak out if some dude was secretly painting my face and had several versions hidden away in his closet. Unless it was Theo James or Zac Efron. They could totally paint my face all they wanted and then some. Reece also probably wouldn’t want to know that I woke up this morning with his eyes burned into my thoughts because I’d dreamed of him again.
Also as in way more than once.
