COVER REVEAL: Strong Enough by Alexis Alexander

People cross paths in life, their purpose unknown but with reason.

Reece Millers life changed that dark night when she was only 17. She hardly remembers what took place but she can’t forget him. His smell his feel and that he saved her.

She has spent six years wondering about him, what might have happened. Her existence since then has been a shell of what it could have been. Hardened by life, Reece has built a wall around herself. Unable to understand love or how to trust, she pushes through life hiding; until a few key people cross her path and slowly chip at her shell, one of them being the very man she has not been able to forget.

Will Reece figure out who he is and his reason for being in her life is before it’s too late? Or will she lose the one person meant to make her whole again?

Alexis Alexander
Being an author was not necessarily the first thing Alexis thought she would ever be. Growing up a military brat and getting to live in different parts of the world she knew life had a lot to offer but an author? Excited to get her life going, Alexis graduated from HS in Wolfforth Texas (yep small town) close to Lubbock at 16 and enrolled at Texas Tech in Exercise Sports Science. Life happens and that path didn’t turn out to be the one she wanted either. Graduating with a degree in Business from Wayland Baptist  and later a Master’s degree from University of Phoenix in Adult Curriculum and Instruction.

Having owned her own business for 6 years she decided yep, life needed another change and she moved into a different field of Finance and currently is a Wealth Advisor. Writing had always been a passion of hers and she was told she was pretty good. Reading on average a book a day and having a huge respect for the world of Indi Writing she decided the stories she had need to be told. Alexis loves to spend time with her teenage daughter, listen to live music (she’s a bit of a music buff), hustle a little on the pool table, workout, read and of course spend fun times with good people.

The only barriers we have are the ones we put up! Let me help you understand why we hold ourselves back from greatness.

COVER REVEAL: Thursday Nights by Lisa Paul

Book Title: Thursday Nights (The Charistown Series, Book #1)

Author: Lisa N. Paul
Genre: Contemporary Erotic Romance
Expected Release date: May 13, 2013
Cover Designed By: Okay Creations

“Pain can leave even the strongest of people weak and hollow

Max DeLucca has spent seven years trying to forget the betrayal of his past.
He lives his life from day to day never looking forward and never looking back.
The walls around his heart keep anyone from getting too close and prevent him from feeling too much… until he meets her.

Her entire life, Janie Silver searched for the kind of love that wouldn’t leave her broken and more importantly, wouldn't leave her behind. She longs for a love that can heal the wounds of her past and give her the future she knows she deserves.
She thought she was looking for something that just didn’t exist…until she meets him.

Danny’s on Main is where their story begins.
A neighborhood bar where strangers become friends, friends become family
and some … become lovers

… it all started on Thursday Nights

“So, your place or mine?” Janie asked nervously as they left the parking lot. The butterflies in her stomach were starting a revolution as she took in the sexy profile of the man sitting to her left with one hand on the wheel and the other on her thigh. Was she really doing this? Not to mention, doing it with Max DeLucca?
Removing his hand from her leg, Max placed both hands on the steering wheel of his black Ferrari Spider. Janie held in the whimper that threatened to escape from the loss of his touch.
Max pulled over to the side of the road, and she felt the butterflies once again trying to take flight. Why was he stopping? Had he changed his mind?
“Janie,” he said, his voice strong but calm. “Janie, look at me. I need to see your eyes.” She looked into his grassy-green orbs. Callused fingers stroked her jaw, sending shivers through her body. “I won’t hurt you. Your body is safe with me. Do you understand?”
She wasn’t sure she did, but she nodded silently, the innocent, doe-eyed look on her face bringing out his every possessive instinct.  “Words Janie, I need words,” Max demanded.
“I think I understand, Max.” She couldn’t help the breathless tone in her voice. “But what is this about?”
He inhaled, holding the air in his lungs for an extra second before letting it go, his eyes smoldering while his body still held the relaxed pose that had become so familiar to her. She could hear her own heart beating, and she could also hear it stop when the next statement left Max’s lips.
“I intend to fuck you tonight, Janie. I intend to fuck you very well. I am going to make you come in every way imaginable. With my fingers, my tongue, and my cock. I am going to do things to you that you and Lyla have only teased about at Danny’s, things that you have fantasized about, and things that have never even crossed your mind. You will have a say in whether or not we stop, but Janie, you will not have a say on whether it is your place or mine. Got it?”
She stared at Max her mouth formed an O. She was thoroughly and truly speechless. So she nodded again.
“Words, Janie. I need words.”
“Ok,” Her heartbeat started speeding up again as Max’s car did the same.

BLOG TOUR: Connected by Kim Karr

What if a 'Once in a Lifetime' could happen twice?

Suffering from a past full of tragedy, Dahlia London's soul has been left completely shattered. Happily ever after is a far cry from reality in her world. But, when she is reconnected with her past, the bonds that form are irrefutable.

When River Wilde, lead singer of The Wilde Ones, comes back into Dahlia’s life, the intensity that fires their relationship combined with underlying feelings that have never died lead her to believe she has met her soul mate.

Struggling with confusion as old connections fade and new ones begin, Dahlia's grief begins to lift — but guilt remains. River wants to be the one to mend all that is torn within her.

With the past never really gone, can the future survive?

Tragedy, love, more tragedy and true love..... That is what you can find in Connected by Kim Karr!

This book brought me to my knees with sadness. I truly felt for Dhalia like I have never felt for a book character before! Her reality is not pretty to begin with and she goes through even more trials as the book goes on. Then there is that "once in a lifetime" that she has on a chance night. You truly get the feel for what she is feeling and going through and you ache for her and her heart.

This book is well written and flows very well. It even has a playlist at the beginning of the book so that you can just imagine her feelings throughout her times. The characters in this book are well written. There are even well hidden facts that arise towards the end! The wait for the next book is going to be tough!! I MUST find out what happens to her and how she will react!!

I give this book 4.5 stars!! Thank you Kim Karr for erupting some emotions not felt in books before! Connecting is a beautiful story that everyone must read!! ~ Debi S.

BLOG TOUR: Waiting For You by Shey Stahl

Bailey Gray is tired of her perfectly planned life. Everything about her life has been organized and lived out to the expectations set of her parents. She is the class valedictorian, has perfect grades, the perfect friends, a perfect boyfriend, basically perfect life...or so everyone thought. That's when she realizes the path planned isn't always the path chosen.

On graduation day she makes a decision. One that changes everything she thought she knew about her intended future.

On a whim, she runs away with the town rebel, Dylan Wade, in search of the unknown.

Dylan Wade isn't looking to run away from anything.
He knows what he wants as he's been waiting on it for years.

On a journey to find the unknown, they discover a friendship they once knew along the open highway and have not a care in the world. Between the yellow and white lines of the heated summer asphalt, a spark draws them together as Dylan's past and Bailey future try to ripe them apart.

Could it be that Dylan and his GTO are exactly what her perfectly planned life needs?

Everything happens for a reason, right? When Bailey, the mayor's daughter, decides that she has had enough and snaps as she is giving her Valedictorian speech. The one person she didn't think she would run to was Dylan Wade. Even though they had been friends and neighbors since the age of three. Dylan's mom was killed by a drunk driver when he was 10 and after a couple of month, Bailey and Dylan went their separate ways. Bailey was Miss Perfect. Dating the Quarterback with the perfect friends and perfect life. Dylan was the town bad boy and delinquent. Always in trouble. After being dragged from the stage by her father and arguing with him in the parking lot, Bailey catches Dylan with his father arguing at the same time. When Dylan's dad strikes him - Bailey run to his defense. Bailey had always liked Dylan. But it was her family that kept her away from him. She was 18 now and she could make her own decisions. So when Dylan asked her to come with him - she jumped in the car and relished her new found freedom. The connection between Bailey and Dylan was magnetic, electrifying, pure bliss. With a road trip and a summer bucket list, they set off from Washington State to Birmingham to visit Dylan's brother Drew.

If you loved The Edge of Never, then you are going to LOVE Waiting for You! I loved how they crossed paths with Jameson and Sway from Ms. Stahl's racing series in the book. Even though I have not read the series - I will now! You will fall in love with Bailey and Dylan and I felt every emotional tug and pull between these two. This is a MUST READ and will definitely be in my top 20 of 2013 (Maybe even within my top 5 of the year).

Zoe Marshall is the youngest sister to Gage's best friend and she has been in love with Gage for as long as she can remember.  She has saved herself for him and him alone.  Now, after careful planning and a bit of luck she finally has her opportunity to show Gage that she's all grown up and ready to be his. Although he believes himself too old and jaded for an innocent like her, Zoe will not relent until she belongs to him in every way.

Soon Gage's resistance crumbles and Zoe's dreams become reality but their budding love is tested when her brother discovers them.  As those bonds of friendship strain under betrayal and broken trust, Zoe is confronted with having to choose between the man she loves and the brother she worships. This book contains graphic language, BDSM elements, M/F/M ménage, a Southern Dom who's a gentleman; and the woman who brings out the scoundrel in him.

"This Darlin', is a Texas dungeon." Gage stood just inside the enormous building and gestured with one arm while he kept Zoe tucked close under his other. He hadn't let her dress this morning. She'd woken up to breakfast in bed before he'd carried her right out here and she was quite content to stay plastered to his side for as long as he'd let her.

The place was all wooden and smelled of hay and leather. There was a loft that created a semi-circle around three quarters of the building with four wooden stairways for access from different areas. There were beams and crates and saddles in addition to all manner of things that up until a couple of weeks ago would not have caused her to think twice about them. She would have taken everything at face value and just assumed this was a very clean and beautiful, yet ordinary barn.
Now, she saw it with the eyes of a sub and every hook, box and rope had endless possibilities that caused her body to tingle in a combination of trepidation and eagerness. Looking at all the different equipment and devices caused images of herself and how she could be strapped on or against them at the hands of her master to flash through her mind.

"Kneel here," Gage's voice had that undertone to it that somehow made it impossible for her to deny. Her legs folded without thought. His hand stroked over her hair, "Legs spread. Wider. That's good. Now, arms behind your back; that's the way. Stay exactly like that." He walked away from her with his long stride and didn't look back when he added; "I'll just get some rope."

Lainey lives in beautiful Washington State.  She's the youngest of five and always wanted to be a writer.  Her first novel -A Table for Three- was nominated for best debut novel of 2010 by The Romance Review and marked a dream come true for Lainey.

With her third published release -Damaged Goods- Lainey saw another of her dreams realized when she took a leap of faith to become a full time author and left the safety net of a day job behind.
Now she spends her days writing with her dog at her feet and a cat curled in her lap and asks herself a dozen times a day; how'd I ever get so lucky?

Kaitlyn Thomas, a weary wife and mother worn down from the monotony her mundane life, headed off for a weekend getaway with her friends. Relaxing and rejuvenating on the beach with the girls was all she had planned until she ran into Chris King, a familiar face from a long forgotten past.

Favorite YA Heros Guest Post: Author Laura Howard

When you’re a little girl, you daydream of what the man of your dreams will be like. How he’ll put you up on a pedestal, and nothing on earth will ever come before you and your needs.

Maybe you’re one of the lucky ones who’s Prince Charming is a living, breathing version of that dream. Or, maybe you’re still looking.

But for many of us, when the cotton-candy dreams of childhood wear off and families and/or bills take center stage, it is a beautiful thing to sink deep into the world of fictional boys.

As I was compiling this list of some of my favorite heroes in YA lit, I noticed that there is a pattern. And, from the popularity of some of these fellas, I’m thinking I’m not the only one. See if you notice the pattern:

Loving you has never been the problem.  What’s troubling me is how loving you may never be enough”

My beautiful queen. Your entire court is staring at you, and I can’t blame them.”

Choosing to be with you, isn’t a difficult decision, Jacqueline…It’s easy. Incredibly easy.”

I don’t know. Just because someone’s pretty doesn’t mean she’s decent. I’m not into appearances. I like flaws, I think they make things interesting.”

I might be in love with you. I’m waiting until I’m sure to tell you, though.”

You are the only thing I have that is neither duty nor obligation, the only thing I chose for myself. The only thing I want.”

You are everything.”

Wait until next time. I’ll do things that’ll make you lose control within seconds.”

I tell you that I don’t want this to end. I don’t want to land and reach the real world, because I like our world up here better.”

Clary, since the first time I saw you, I have belonged to you completely. I still do. If you want me.”

I honestly have no idea how to live without you.”

I didn’t know I was lost until you found me. I didn’t know what alone was until the first night I spent without you in my bed. You’re the one thing I’ve got right. You’re what I’ve been waiting for, Pigeon.”

Did you pick up on the theme?

A hefty percent of these male leads are the all-consuming, obsessive boyfriends that in real life would smother their ladies to insanity.

I feel kind of ashamed of it, because I am not a clingy person AT ALL. Nor do I  think of myself as the type of woman who NEEDS her man to make her feel whole. But, women all over the planet have swooned for Edward Cullen and Travis Maddox. The relationships between Edward and Bella and Travis and Abby are obsessive, all-consuming affairs skating on the unhealthy side.

I've come to the conclusion that the reason we fall for these literary heart throbs is because in our deepest hearts, it’s fun to still fantasize about having someone to love us with that level of fiery intensity.
Who would make it on your Top Ten?

About Laura Howard

Laura lives in New Hampshire with her husband and four children. Her obsession with books began at the age of 6 when she got her first library card. Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High and other girly novels were routinely devoured in single sittings. Books took a backseat to diapers when she had her first child. It wasn’t until the release of a little novel called Twilight, 8 years later, that she rediscovered her love of fiction. Soon after, her own characters began to make themselves known. The Forgotten Ones is her first published novel.

About The Forgotten Ones

Allison O'Malley just graduated from college. Her life's plan is to get a job and take care of her schizophrenic mother. She doesn't have room for friends or even Ethan, who clearly wants more.

When Allison's long-lost father shows up, he claims he can bring her mother back from the dark place her mind has sent her. He reveals legends of a race of people long forgotten, the Tuatha de Danaan, along with the truth about why he abandoned her mother.
